Reviewer Guidelines

Reviewer Guidelines

1. Overview of the Peer Review Process

The Journal of Next-Generation Research 5.0 (JNGR 5.0), directed by Dr. Rachid Ejjami as Editor-in-Chief, employs a structured double-blind peer review process designed to maintain quality and uphold the integrity of Research 5.0. This model, which emphasizes the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies, involves Dr. Ejjami as the primary reviewer working closely with expert partner reviewers. This collaborative approach ensures that each manuscript meets the high academic and technological standards of JNGR 5.0.

Double-Blind Review

In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed, facilitating impartial and unbiased feedback unaffected by authors’ backgrounds or affiliations.

Steps in the Peer Review Process

Initial Screening

Each submission is first reviewed by Dr. Rachid Ejjami to confirm alignment with the journal’s scope and adherence to submission guidelines.

Primary and Partner Review

Manuscripts that meet initial requirements undergo a rigorous evaluation by Dr. Ejjami alongside specialized partner reviewers. This review, typically conducted over 1–6 days, ensures a detailed and balanced assessment.

Reviewer Feedback

Feedback focuses on the originality, methodology, relevance to technology, and clarity of the manuscript. Detailed comments and recommendations (accept, revise, or reject) are provided.

Author Revisions

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts according to reviewer feedback. Revisions are reviewed until both Dr. Ejjami and partner reviewers are satisfied with the quality.

Final Decision

Dr. Ejjami makes the final publication decision based on comprehensive feedback from all reviewers. Authors are then notified if their manuscript is accepted, requires further revisions, or is declined.

2. Reviewer Responsibilities

Our reviewers, including Dr. Ejjami and our partner reviewers, are essential in maintaining the standards of JNGR 5.0. They ensure clarity, coherence, and scientific rigor, particularly in relation to AI and emerging technologies.

3. Evaluation Criteria for Submissions

Submissions to JNGR 5.0 are evaluated using a structured review form that ensures clarity, rigor, and relevance. Each submission is assessed based on the following key criteria:

Relevance to AI and Emerging Technologies: Does the manuscript focus on artificial intelligence or emerging technologies, and does the title reflect this focus?

Interdisciplinary Depth: Does the manuscript integrate perspectives from AI, data science, or other emerging technologies?

Clarity and Logical Structure: Is the manuscript structured clearly, with logically connected ideas to enhance understanding?

Conceptual Framework and Technological Application: Does the study include a robust theoretical framework or a clearly defined problem statement, emphasizing technological applications?

Innovation and Contribution: Does the manuscript introduce novel technologies, methods, or applications that contribute significantly to the field?

Methodological Precision: Are the research methods thoroughly documented, replicable, and appropriate for the study?

Data Visualization and Presentation: Are the results effectively presented using high-quality tables, figures, or other visualizations?

Depth of Analysis: Does the manuscript provide comprehensive scientific interpretations, particularly in relation to AI and emerging technologies?

Quality of References: Are the references up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with the latest advancements in the field?

Impact and Strength of Conclusion: Does the conclusion effectively summarize the findings and highlight the manuscript's implications for future research?

4. Plagiarism Policy

JNGR 5.0 enforces a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism, using industry-standard detection tools to ensure originality. Any manuscript containing significant plagiarism will be immediately rejected, and the authors will be notified.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism involves using another’s words, ideas, or findings without proper acknowledgment, whether through direct copying or paraphrasing.

Screening and Consequences

Manuscripts exceeding acceptable similarity thresholds are rejected outright. In severe cases, the authors' affiliated institutions may be informed to uphold ethical standards.

5. Ethical Standards for Authors

Originality: Authors must ensure the originality of their work and properly cite all sources.

No Duplicate Submissions: Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals is prohibited.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence their research.

6. Commitment to Ethical Integrity as Publisher

As Editor-in-Chief and primary reviewer, Dr. Ejjami, in collaboration with partner reviewers, is committed to addressing any ethical concerns, such as plagiarism or data manipulation. Actions may include publishing corrections, retractions, or statements of concern, following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. JNGR 5.0 also ensures the long-term availability and accessibility of its published content through secure digital archiving.

Note: These guidelines reflect JNGR 5.0’s dedication to maintaining rigorous standards of clarity, integrity, and technological relevance, in line with the Vancouver style and the ethical framework of Research 5.0.
