Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Publication Status: The submission has not been previously published in English or French. If the work was published in another language, relevant details must be clearly provided in the “Notes to the Editor” section.
  • The article is not under consideration by any other journal.

  • If this article was previously submitted to another journal, you have included an explanation in "Notes to the Editor" and sent formal written evidence of its rejection or withdrawal from the initial submission location to editor@jngr5.com.
  • If the article builds upon a conference paper, you have reviewed the guidelines under "Preparing Articles" in the Author Guidelines. You have also included a statement: "This article is a revised and expanded version of a paper titled [title] presented at [name, location, and date of conference]."
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • When submitting your work, please select the appropriate section to ensure accurate categorization. For peer-reviewed conference papers, choose the “Conferences” section, specifically designated for academic conference submissions. For standard research or academic articles intended for journal publication, please select the “Articles” section.
  • Document Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in .docx format only. PDF submissions are not accepted, except in special cases where explicitly necessary. Please ensure that the required header and footer are correctly applied in accordance with the official template.

Author Guidelines

Before using the downloaded template, please ensure that your manuscript fits the appropriate category—research or academic article—as each follows distinct formatting and structural guidelines. While English is the official language of publication, submissions in French are also accepted, provided the abstract and keywords are submitted in English. We recommend carefully reviewing the Author Guidelines – JNGR 5.0 to align your submission with the required standards. This will help facilitate a smooth review process and enhance the visibility and impact of your work. Full formatting instructions and template usage details can be found under the Downloaded Template section.
